Vincent Van Gogh (1853–1890) was the most famous Dutch post-impressionist painter of all time and among the most influential artists in the history of Western art. He produced about 2100 artworks in just over a decade. including 860 oil paintings. He painted portraits and self-portraits, landscapes, and still lifes.
